The triliteral root hamza nūn sīn (أ ن س) occurs in the Quran 97 times:

The Purpose of the Creation

(51:56) I did not create the Genius and the Mankind (Arab. وَالْإِنْسَ, wal-insa) except to serve Me.

Creation of the human beings from sperm

(16:4) He created the human beings (Arab. الْإِنْسَانَ, l-insāna) from sperm, but then he becomes a clear opponent.

Creation of human beings from clay

(23:12) We have created humans (Arab. الْإِنْسَانَ, l-insāna) from an extract of clay.

(17:61), (38:71), (7:12), (37:11)

To Notice

(4:6) Test the orphans until they reach the age of marriage. So when you notice (Arab. آنَسْتُمْ, ānastum) that they (progress in) awareness, then give them their wealth, and do not deliberately consume it wastefully or quickly before they grow up. Whoever is rich, then let him not claim anything, and if he is poor then let him consume only properly. If you give to them their wealth, then make a witness for them, and God is enough for Reckoning.
