«Twelve leaders» of the Children of Israel

(5:12) God took the covenant of the Children of Israel and sent from them twelve leaders, and God said, "I am with you if you hold the contact prayer, contribute towards betterment, acknowledge My messengers, support them, and give God a loan of righteousness; then I will cancel your sins and admit you into gardens with rivers flowing beneath." Whoever rejects after this from you, then he has strayed from the path.

(5:12) А ведь Аллах определённо взял завет с сынов Израиля. Мы назначили из них двенадцать вождей. И сказал Аллах: «Воистину, Я - с вами, только если вы устанавливаете Консолидацию, (раздавая) Очистительную подать, (проявляя) доверие к Моим Посланиям, обременяясь ими, и кредитуя Аллаха - хорошим кредитом. Тогда Я удалю ваши тревоги, и введу вас в генетику, подпитываемую теми Днями, что (стали) её предтечами. Тот же из вас, кто (проявит) отрицание после этого, конечно же собьётся со сбалансированного Пути».

The Problem with «Ten Lost Tribes»

The «Ten Lost Tribes» were ten of the «Twelve Tribes of Israel», that were said to have been deported from the «Kingdom of Israel» after its conquest by the Neo-Assyrian Empire, circa 722 BCE.
